Background:

Bernhard’s background can be sometimes being described as a bit of a roller coaster. Bernhard’s parents got divorced then he was young due to his father being unable to control his gambling addiction and have being target for bullies for many years at school made it difficult for him to learn to be social. The only way he endured all the pain of bullying was with support from his mom and him punching a cement wall outside from school to release his anger and frustration. When Bernhard became 14, he didn’t want to take on turf wars at first as he thought his lack of social skills would just ruin the fun sport for everyone. But Bernhard’s mom saw it in a different light as she felt turf wars could be a great for him as this team focus sport can teach him how to get along with other inklings. At 15, Bernhard decided to take his mom request to join in turf wars. With his brand new Splat roller in hand, he moves to Cephalo City to take part of turf war!
