PKMC Application - Gilbert

Gilbert was born in Lavaridge Town, but his family soon moved to Nimbasa City so Gilbert’s father could keep working in his job while still being able to spend quality time with his family. Because Gilbert had to move to Nimbasa City at young age; he doesn’t remember his days in Lavaridge Town all that well. In Nimbasa city Gilbert grew up to be lazy and relaxed person who enjoy sweets and prefer to take things on his pace. (His pace being a slow one)At school, he was usually around average in turns of grades but was often late due to not being good at keep on the time. While he was never popular at school due to him being born from a far region, Gilbert always tried to fit in the style of Nimbasa.

When Gilbert was still new in the big city, he started to fell in love with dancing and music after seeing someone dance near the Rondez-View Ferris Wheel. As soon as Gilbert became a Grumpig, he started to train his dancing skills at his heart's content despite of not having a teacher to teach him the ropes of dancing. However, he discovered that he can’t dance in front of other people without accidentally using his psychic powers to hypnotize others. While Gilbert got heartbroken by this, his mother told him that he just needs to train his psychic powers so he will be able to show others his love for dancing. This fact really upsets him and it only got worse then his school classmates started to make fun of him after they heard that Gilbert, a psychic type Pokémon; can't control his psychic powers. However, Gilbert tried to stay positive and start training as much as he can so he can control his psychic powers.

Now Gilbert has graduated and he’s going to move to start his new life and is still training to control his psychic power so he can dance again without hypnotizing other Pokémon; and maybe get a job if lucky. His mother has also requested him to maybe move to Pokette Town so he can live outside of the big cities like the early days of his childhood. Gilbert was unsure about that idea at first, but later he was okay with his mother's suggestion and decided to give t a shot so he can take a break of the big city life.

• PERSONALITY:

Gilbert is mostly a relaxed Pokémon, sometimes to the point of being lazy. But he mostly positive and tries his best to focus while do things he need to do. Gilbert also likes to wear hats a lot, so much in fact that he feels uncomfortable without wearing one; so don't be surprised if Gilbert gets mad easily if someone tries to steal the hat that he's wearing.

Gilbert loves dancing and music of all kinds, but he can't dance in front of other Pokémon because he can't control his psychic powers which cause them to be hypnotized. As such Gilbert is not proud of his psychic abilities and gets upset very easily if someone poke fun or make fun of his lack of skills of that part. (But he knows how to use Role Play to mimic other peoples faces)

If there's one other thing Gilbert likes that isn't dancing or music then it is food. He gets hungry often then he's trying to relax or take a break outside, so he sometimes bring food with him like sandwich, Iapapa berry or sweets just in case.

Gilbert also has a short memory spam, so he sometimes forgets stuff very quickly. This is the worst case then Gilbert got lost in Nimbasa city at one night he was buying sweets for himself only to forget how to get back home, he has being afraid of walking outside alone at night ever since because off this.

Overall... While Gilbert has his obvious flaws and weaknesses he needs to overcome, he's a relaxed Pokémon who always tries to stay positive at all times.
